Cattle Annie's is Central Virginia's Premier Live Music Venue and Night Spot. At Cattle Annie's, you'll enjoy a variety of entertainment, from live music to dancing and games, and a variety of music formats from Modern Rock and Top 40 to Country and Classic Dance Hits. Large enough for national artists, yet small enough to create an intimate setting, our variety of entertainment, expansive dance floor, state-of-the-art sound system, and large stage provide something for just about everyone.

History

In the fall of 1993 Lynchburg welcomed the opening of a new restaurant and music dance club. Originally designed for line dancing and two-stepping, Cattle Annie's features the largest dance floor in Virginia. At the peak of country music's popularity, guests from throughout the mid-Atlantic region regularly filled this 20,000 square foot facility.

In 1998, Cattle Annie's was reborn as Cattle Annie's Restaurant & Entertainment Club featuring a more diverse music format and a greater variety of entertainment. Cattle Annie's Restaurant was also nominated for the Country Music Associations "Club of the Year." Every year since, the readers of The Burg have voted Cattle Annie's Restaurant the "Best Night Spot in Lynchburg"!

In 2003, Cattle Annie's celebrated ten years as Lynchburg's premier entertainment venue. Although our roots are in country music, Cattle Annie's has evolved into a multi-genre, multi-format entertainment venue to match the characteristics of our community. As we continue to adapt and improve, our desire is to continue providing you with the best entertainment available to central Virginia.

The Entertainment

Typically, entertainment at Cattle Annie's Restaurant is for 21 and older guests. The format varies each evening so check our schedule before you head out! Otherwise, your night out to dance may turn out to be a concert by a national known performer.

Friday Night is geared to young adults and features Top 40 Dance music by our house DJ and Modern Rock by local and regional bands. Saturday Night is focused on more mature adults and couples. Saturdays begin with formal country dancing such as line dancing and two-stepping, then transition from country music and classic dance hits into Top 40 dance music. There is plenty of parking in our private, paved, well-lit parking lot. And, you'll find our staff and security are helpful, attentive, and friendly.

Cattle Annie's Restaurant doesn't just offer dining and dancing. We regularly present nationally known entertainers to the Lynchburg community. Stars such as George Jones, Ricky Van Shelton, Rascal Flatts, and Keith Urban, comedian Rodney Carrington, rockers Seven Mary Three, Sevendust, Edwin McCain, and Quite Riot, pop stars Mandy Moore and Soul Decision and many others have graced the 40-foot wide stage of Cattle Annie's Restaurant. Cattle Annie's regularly features live entertainment from the best local, regional, and national bands, artists, and other entertainers. Many popular acts played Cattle Annie's Restaurant before they made it big. You won't want to miss any one of these great bands. One of them might just be the next big star!

Our Restaurant    

Dinner is served to you in our full-service restaurant which features bold, spicy flavors of Tex-Mex entrées and tender, juicy, melt-in-your-mouth steaks. We are often told our prime rib is the best in Lynchburg! Our menu is available online for your review.

 We also have a lounge behind our main bar that not only offers a fantastic view of the performer, but also provides a place to relax after dinner or get away from the hustle and bustle of the club. There are multiple televisions in the lounge so you won't miss the big game, race or other sporting event.

Banquets & Special Events

Cattle Annie's frequently holds large banquets and private parties and can book DJs, bands, or dance instructors to make your party complete. You can also make multi-media presentations for business functions or just for fun. And, Cattle Annie's is available for community events.

Cattle Annie's Restaurant regularly hosts fund-raisers for charitable and community oriented organizations. The most popular charitable event is Taste of the Nations, an annual fund-raiser by local restaurants to help raise funds to fight hunger. Due to the unique combination of products and services of Cattle Annie's Restaurant, many organizations, such as the Virginia Harley Owners Group, hold their functions in Lynchburg.

Community Involvement

Cattle Annie's current ownership believes it is important to focus on the needs of the entire community. Cattle Annie's Restaurant has developed a partnership with Heritage Elementary School and supports many other local schools, volunteer fire companies, and other community organizations. In the future, we hope to once again offer Family Night at Cattle Annie's where children and their parents can have dinner, then enjoy music and play games. Family night is alcohol & tobacco free so parents can feel safe bringing their children for a night of fun.
