Cattle Annie's Celebrates 15 Year Anniversary!

Boasting the largest dance floor in Virginia, Cattle Annie's opened to immediate popularity in 1993. The 20,000 square foot dance floor became legendary for line dancing and two-stepping, as well as hosting internationally-known artists including Waylon Jennings, Ricky Van Shelton, Billy Ray Cyrus, Chris Ledoux, Keith Urban, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride and countless other legends of country music.

By the late 1990's and early 2000's, Cattle Annie's adapted with the times and started offering more diversity in its entertainment. Hosting artists such as Mandy Moore, Delbert McClinton, Jan and Dean, Quiet Riot, Soul Decision, and more recently, Breaking Benjamin, Alter Bridge, Collective Soul, Sugarland, Seven Dust , Puddle of Mud, and Dwight Yoakam, Cattle Annie's has shown its commitment to bringing in the live music that Virginia wants to hear.

Not only did Cattle Annie's diversify its live music, it also opened up the doors to more special events such as karaoke, dj nights, dance instruction, private and corporate parties, and became a huge patron of some of the region's most worthy community initiatives. "Lynchburg Cooks for Hunger Relief"(formerly known as Taste of the Nations) is an annual fundraiser hosted by members of Lynchburg's restaurant community to raise funds and awareness about hunger. Cattle Annie's has also actively supported Heritage Elementary School, many area volunteer fire departments, law enforcement agencies, the Lynchburg District Rotary Club and the Bedford Area Chamber of Commerce.

Cattle Annie's regularly features live entertainment from the best local, regional, and national bands, artists, and other entertainers. Many popular acts played Cattle Annie's Restaurant before they made it big. You won't want to miss any one of these great bands. One of them might just be the next big star!

As testament to its hard work and customer service, Cattle Annie's was nominated for the Country Music Associations "Club of the Year" in 1998. Further, each year since, readers of "The Burg" have voted Cattle Annie's one of the region's Best Night Spot.

Cattle Annie's continues to hold the title of Central Virginia's most popular destination for live music. In recent years, the venue has also became well-known for its restaurant; serving lunch, dinner, and also catering for private and corporate events. The diverse menu offer tangy Tex-Mex options, with steaks and prime rib, but also appeals to a more conservative pallet with a variety of chicken and fish. Side dishes are piping hot and plentiful, while prices allow patrons to get drinks, dessert, and still walk away with a great value.

After 15 years, Cattle Annie's adaptability and attention to customer service has become a hallmark of live entertainment and dining in Central Virginia. Cattle Annie's supports the community in which it thrives and continues to appreciate its patrons who come in week after week, as well as the new faces. Come in and find out why, in 2008, this is "Not Your Daddy's Cattle Annie's."

Cattle Annie's would like to take this opportunity to thank its customers and vendors for 15 years of wonderful collaboration. We appreciate your commitment to bringing live music and entertainment to Central Virginia and we look forward to another 15 years with you all!
